  • How do I know that it's time to consider therapy?

    Each person’s needs are unique and therefore their decision to begin a therapeutic relationship is different. However, often people decide to reach out and learn more when their symptoms become severe enough in duration or intensity that they impact one or more areas of their life, Length of treatment is customized to client’s needs, and they always have the right to step away from treatment if desired.

  • How soon is too soon for grief therapy?

    Clients are encouraged to seek therapy at any time after a significant death that they feel would help them in their processing.

    With that said, the lived experience in the first few weeks after a death is more accurately considered crisis response. During this phase clinicians support basic daily functioning, provide psychoeducation to give context to symptoms, aid clients in emotional release, and support them in creating a more sustainable ecosystem of care as grief experiences set in.

  • Your therapists seem great, but how do I know they're a fit for me?

    Research has shown that the fit in therapeutic relationships account for half of a client’s success through the course of treatment. If you are seeking specific skills or traits in a therapist, please don’t hesitate to let us know! We are happy to have an initial phone consultation to ensure our partnership would be right for you. If a fit doesn’t seem right, we’re happy to refer you to other great providers.
