Nice to meet you, my name is Anna! I’m a clinical mental health counseling intern under supervision at Deep River Counseling in Roseville, MN. If you’re looking for a counselor with a deeply empathetic foundation in matters of neurodivergence, cultural diversity, and is affirming of various backgrounds or lifestyles, then I am an excellent choice for you. I serve individuals, whether adolescents age 6 and up, or adults of any age. 

My approach is eclectic with a base of Expressive Arts Therapy. Expressive Arts Therapy includes Art Therapy, but expands beyond it by integrating anything from music and movement, to story-telling and writing, to acting, play, and more. If you’re looking for more than just talk therapy, or need someone who understands the need to oscillate between methods to suit your needs, then this is a great choice for you. 

I work with clients who are Autistic, have ADHD, or other developmental disorders. I also work with individuals in matters of narcissistic abuse, behavioral issues, burnout, life transitions, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma/PTSD, polyamory/CNM, women’s issues and racial trauma. My specialty is in late-diagnosed ASD and neurodivergence, with a commitment to cultural sensitivity and affirming of queer, trans, and BIPOC individuals.
