Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here.
We are a small local therapy office with a focus on grief and trauma that aims to be transparent, collaborative, authentic, kind, community-oriented, and put people before profits.
Safety Policy Update: In solidarity and advocacy for the rights of all of our clients,
Deep River Counseling's main clinic door will remain locked at all times during business hours. The door will only be opened for clients and their immediate family at the time of a scheduled appointment. This policy will be in effect until further notice to ensure the safe and ethical treatment of clients in our clinic.
Each therapist will be communicating this policy, along with the option for tele-health treatment, to their clients seeking in-person care. For all clients who are minors that are seeking in-person care, therapists will communicate this policy to all legal guardians on file and will encourage the presence of a guardian or family member in our waiting room during sessions.
As an organization committed to the safety, dignity, and care of every person we serve, we want to reaffirm our commitment to confidentiality, protection, and support for all clients and staff regardless of immigration status. Our clinic does not collect, nor does it report on the immigration status of any client.
Please reach out to your established therapist by email with any questions or needs. You may also call or text our office line as a backup to the preferred email communication with your therapist at 651-243-0077.
